Vassar ‘74 here. This is BS. So you don’t like some of the student housing. What about the academic buildings, the library, the athletic building, etc ? You could have made a 2-hour video and included interviews with students and dorm room visits. Ridiculous video.

Junior year is a huge struggle now because while everyone has been studying and doing this for the past two years, i am behind and on square. But i don't believe im dumb. I believe i can do better, i will be better. Dont give up guys, giving yo only makes you struggle harder with motivation

I've messed up my college when I was 18 , I failed some of my grades but the main reason is my parents can't afford my tuition fee anymore. I have to sacrificed because I still had siblings that were also studying. I had worked after those years and now I'm 31 and wanting to go back to college but I'm a bit worried since I have full time work and with kids. I really wanted to earn a degree now.

I don’t know what to do. I do feel doomed. My entire school life consisted of being very mentally ill, I had only gotten away from an incredibly abusive parent at 15. Instead of studying and working hard, I was making suicide plans and attempting. I had all Fs by the time I was a freshmen.. and ended up dropping out as a freshman, with a GED. It wasn’t laziness, it wasn’t not taking it seriously, it was real life beating me down and school being in the background, after all I viewed my life as worthless and over by age 12. And now.. at 20 years old, I want to go to college. I want a second chance at education, now that I’m far away from my horrible upbringing. But I don’t know where to start, I live paycheck to paycheck and I feel like I’ll never succeed. Still battling mental health issues that I never got mental help for as a teen.

There is no logical nor sane reason for coed toilets & showers, even if areas are walled off. Women would not feel safe nor actually be safe, and there are many times in life for ALL humankind on this Earth where men and women have to be separated some how unless they are a couple. Want to know why the West is a dying society, because of madness like this. Here is a better idea, lets have a male only shower & toilet, & a female only shower & toilet.

Interesting - because there's a missing step here. Studying nursing for example is full of science classes. But the daily job is usually chosen for caregiving desires. So sometimes you can get thru a major you aren't in love with as long as you realize what and why you're studying it.

? this doesn't make any sense. All it takes is a simple email/call to the university to let them know you can't afford the offer. This video is very contradictory. And no - universities don't "blacklist" entire high schools because they have an ED back out. That's ridiculous.

Of course early admissions favors the wealthy. It is those people who hire essay and SAT/ACT tutors and college counselors who educate them on how college admissions works, so of course these are the kids who will apply early and have high scores, stellar essays and meaningful extracurriculars because of all the coaching. It doesn't take a study for us to know that.

I'm in 10th classified cause my old school didnt transfer my online creds from 2020-2021 cause the system crashed and they could have gave them to me if I stayed at that school but I had to move so now should I take credit recovery so I can be in 11th second semester of this upcoming year if I do this is it possible to get a 3.5 gpa or 4.0 or near one of them and is it better for me to not get on track and just do this all and get good grades?
